Why the 11 players are important in your team to fight COVID
1. Have at least one twelve hour fast every day – Best is to have your last meal of the day before 7PM and eat your breakfast at 9AM.
It is noticed that people who have been fasting has fared better in this second wave of Covid. When there is nothing eaten for 12 hours, the body moves from glucose cycle to ketone-based cycle. This has multiple benefits including autophagy about which you can look up in the net. In the context of Covid, there are some papers which suggest that the acetoacetate secreted by body during ketosis helps in creating an adverse environment for the virus whereas it is not bad for the individual. In fact such a fast is beneficial for the individual. So, before your breakfast, fast! Daily!
